L'Eclaireur, Paris

For the autumn-winter 2012/13 collection of Augustin Teboul presented at L'Eclaireur, Nini Gollong swathes one special piece in a wonderland of 900 Feng Shui crystals, bathed in light and yet immersed in a spiritual and soothing darkness.

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese method of using natural forces to improve the quality of life – the designer's aim was therefore to recreate this positive ancient character within an installation of energizing crystals. Enclosed by the natural flower scent of lilies, a custom sound production by Hamid Bagherzadeh and “ZAC” by Or design for the enfolded wooden block with white gold leaves, the “Crystal Bloom” installation envelopes its audience in an enigmatic yet calm atmosphere. By following the earthy path of reinforced, laced-covered mirrors in a serene crystal labyrinth, the spectator will travel through a subtle journey, merging in nature and modernity.

In this collaboration with Augustin, Nini Gollong invites you to experience her utterly unique and personal world.

A place to ease your mind, a moment of finding your inner serenity.
